1. About cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, let a website remember information between visits. This page explains what Quiet Practice LLC, a Colorado limited liability company doing business as Canoe, uses on withcanoe.co. The short version is that the public site uses very little.
2. What I use
- First-visit routing prompt. When you first arrive, I ask whether your practice incorporates psilocybin so I can point you to the right brand. Your answer is stored in your browser's local storage (under the key canoe-routing-prompt-seen), not in a cookie, so I do not ask again. It never leaves your browser.
- Analytics. I use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage and performance. These are cookieless and collect non-identifying data.
- Admin session. A session cookie (canoe_admin_session) is set only when the studio operator logs into the private admin area. It is not set for ordinary visitors.
- Payments. If you make a payment, Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention on the checkout domain (pay.withcanoe.co). These are governed by Stripe's own policies.
3. What I do not use
I do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies, and I do not sell information collected through cookies or local storage.
4. Controlling cookies
You can manage or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking them will not prevent you from browsing the public site.
5. Changes and contact
I may update this policy as my tools change. Questions can be sent to hello@withcanoe.co.
